May 10: Film Noir Finale

Move to the beat of a telltale heart while struggling to decipher the butler’s notes and finally discover, whodunit? You’ll need all of your monkey paws to save you from the eyes watching you through the paintings of your long deceased great-aunt, and be sure to keep an eye on your coattails and ruffles, because you never know who might be lurking in the shadows, coming behind you with the lead pipe in the library. Dress in your finest and stay vigilant. Survival comes to those who scrutinize.

Roan Shankaruk
The great thing about being seventeen is that you don’t have to have it all figured out yet. There’s lots of time to explore all kinds of music and that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life. I’ve performed in musicals, operas, classical choirs and even learned some jazz last summer. The past couple of years I’ve been busking with my ukulele and that has taught me so much about performance and telling musical stories. Life is a wonderland - enjoy it.
