Come with us now, on a journey through time and space, and enter the world of Marmalade & Co. Circus! A Taste of Finale…

Mike Johnston

Mike Johnston is equal parts optimism and grizzly bear. He proclaims life itself to be his dearest and closest love. Despite fighting over the covers, and the occasional forgotten anniversary, he feels they were made for each other. Mike was hand-picked off a bear farm in Quebec by his parents, Bill and Jan, and has been lovingly polished by Francis Arevalo and Julia Wei. His friendship belongs to you—don’t drop it!

Chance Stewart

Chance enjoys toying with his vocabulary of frequencies and sound-symbols and is beginning to redefine the way in which he shares this experience with others. Thanks for comin’ along on the ride.

Binnorie

Robyn and Nadia, Grade 10 and 12 students at Pinetree Secondary have been working on this theatre piece since September of this year. It has brought them together as actors, friends and as sisters in their school’s Treehouse Theatre. Many thanks to their dedicated teacher, Natalee Fera for her support and guidance on this journey. No sisters were harmed in the making of this production.

Good For Grapes

Good For Grapes is an energetic, folk-inspired band from Vancouver. Winning the Vancouver Rogers urMusic Battle of the bands, and going on to win the Canada-Wide National Battle of the Bands, the group is overcoming all odds and making a serious rise in the music community. Their debut 6-song EP is out, and the band couldn’t be more ready to show their music to the world.

Jasper and the Friendly Ghosts

Jasper Sloan Yip has two independent releases under his belt and is the songwriter behind Jasper and the Friendly Ghosts. His career began in the summer of 2007 with the release of his solo debut “White Elephant” which was recorded at home with a single broken microphone. His latest effort, “Every Day and All at Once” was released early 2010 and has received local, national, and international radio play and charted on CBC Radio 3.

Brianna Carlson

I am a magician and have been practicing for seven years and working for three years. I work at East Side Mario’s Lonsdale Quay on Saturday nights from 6-8, entertaining people while they eat. I belong to the Vancouver Magic Circle and the International Brotherhood of Magicians. I have taken a few magic courses but most of the magic I know has been taught to me by other local magicians.

General Eclectic

General Eclectic is an indie jazz-rock band from kitsilano. They have been playing together in the current lineup for only three or so months, and all the members are in Grade 11 at various Vancouver high schools. Horn and guitar driven jazz rock with strong classical and blues references.
